Abound Health is seeking a Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and help elevate how revenue cycle management supports our mission of serving and empowering individuals with disabilities and complex needs and the teams who care for them. This role is remote but would require working East Coast hours.

This is a builder role for someone excited to create a best-in-class RCM function rooted in technology, with a dedicated team guiding the work. You will help strengthen the full revenue cycle from end to end, making our billing team more effective, focused, and able to do their best work through better workflows, automation, analytics, controls, and management visibility.

A defining part of this opportunity is OnTarget, Abound’s in-house software platform. We are looking for a leader who is energized by working alongside a technology platform with internal and external customers, partnering with internal stakeholders and the OnTarget team to push forward Abound’s RCM capabilities as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elevate Abound’s RCM function into a scalable, technology-enabled operating model that improves accuracy, visibility, accountability, and performance.

• Leverage OnTarget’s capabilities and supporting technology to translate operational needs into practical workflows, dashboards, work queues, automation, reporting, and controls.

• Improve billing accuracy, collections, A/R performance, denial prevention and resolution, payer follow-up, and revenue cycle reporting.

• Build clear SOPs, handoffs, escalation paths, KPIs, and operating rhythms that help people work smarter and support consistent execution across teams.

• Lead and develop revenue cycle managers, leads, specialists, and subject matter experts while building a culture of ownership, service, continuous improvement, and thoughtful technology adoption.

• Serve as a cross-functional partner to support business growth and stronger operating performance.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of leadership experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, operational transformation, or a related field.

• Demonstrated track record of improving complex, compliance-driven operations through process, technology, and organizational change; direct RCM experience is preferred but not required.

• Technology-forward mindset with experience improving operations through workflow redesign, dashboards, automation, business intelligence, system optimization, or similar tools.

• Strong hands-on operator who is willing to dig into details, understand the software and workflows, solve practical problems, and then scale those learnings into larger initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to lead change, build alignment, coach teams, and turn complex processes into clear, measurable, sustainable operating models.

• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and cross-functional partnership skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, Operations, or a related field required. Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $115,000 and $150,000.

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment. Additionally, our 401(k) plan becomes available after 12 months of employment. For more information about our total rewards package, please reach out to your Talent Acquisition Partner.
