The Senior Director, Product Marketing for AI will be responsible for leading an important pillar within Product Marketing. This role is responsible for building and delivering AI product marketing to advance our Five9 contact center product. This person will work with the product, business development, sales, and partner teams to identify, prioritize, and support these initiatives with go-to-market plans, product launches, programs, content, and enablement tools to expand awareness and assist with driving top of funnel business leading to revenue. This role has management responsibilities for a team of product marketers that will grow over time as the program succeeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build AI product marketing plans and strategies to market our Five9 Genius AI solution suite. This can include Five9 products as well as partner products.
- Work with product management and business development teams to identify, prioritize, and resource product and partnership programs and efforts.
- Show strength in storytelling with examples of compelling stories that impacted target audiences toward specific goals and objectives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to drive product revenue.
- Create messaging and positioning to support product and partner campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop marketing assets such as datasheets, feature briefs, whitepapers, user guides, web tutorials, presentations, and other content and collateral.
- Work with the enablement teams to increase awareness, knowledge, and program participation with partners.
- Support other product marketing objectives as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of product marketing experience. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience with product marketing in the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) market.
- Deep experience with artificial intelligence (AI).
- A track record of building product marketing strategies and delivering results.
- Experience with content development of various types.
- Experience managing a team of product marketers.
- Proven success developing and managing projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience working directly with executive staff, senior management, and direct/indirect sales & BD teams.
- Strong business acumen as well as strong analytical and strategic abilities.
- A self-motivated individual capable of working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
