Job Description

As the Senior Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Balsam Brands. You will lead a team of talented product managers, driving the development of innovative solutions and features that enhance customer experiences, drive profitable revenue growth and support internal team members’ ability to work flexibly and efficiently. 

To be successful in this role, you need to be able to create and share a product vision and to work at a strategic level with other leaders as well as being close enough to the day-to-day work so that you can coach and support team members as we continue to optimize our ways of working.

This position reports to the SVP, Program & Product Management. This is a full-time, hybrid in-office position located in Boise, ID or Redwood City, CA.  

What you’ll do:  

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals 
  • Agile Leadership: Drive the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. This includes working with Product, Project and Tech teams as well as bringing other business partners and leaders along on the “journey 
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth through the development of new products and features 
  • Customer Focus: Deeply understand customer needs and preferences, ensuring that products and features meet or exceed their expectations 
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other departments to ensure successful product development and launch 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure performance 

What you bring to the table:  

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role 
  • Proven track record of driving agile transitions and increasing revenue growth in an ecommerce environment 
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies and best practices 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated AI literacy, enabling effective understanding, interaction, and critical evaluation of AI technologies and applications across diverse business functions

The base pay range for this position is: $212,000 to $265,000. Please note that placement within the posted salary range is based on several factors, including geographic location, experience, skills, alignment with role requirements and other job-related factors. It is uncommon for offers to be made at the top of the range, as this typically reflects a candidate who exceeds all role requirements and brings significant, directly applicable experience. We benchmark our pay ranges against current external data sources and regularly review compensation for our team members.
