Senior Director of Product Management – Data & Connectivity

About the Role 

Alteryx is seeking a strategic and technically grounded Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Data & Management theme—the portfolio responsible for connectors, platform management, governance, and admin tooling. You’ll oversee a diverse surface area critical to enabling Alteryx adoption at scale. 

This is a defining leadership opportunity to modernize Alteryx’s integration stack and make it easier for organizations to deploy, govern, and scale Alteryx across their data estate. It’s a foundational role for our “CDW unlock” and IT adoption strategies.

What You’ll Do: 

• Set the Strategy: Lead the vision and roadmap for data connectors, platform management, and admin experience. Ensure alignment with our AI and cloud execution priorities. 

• Lead the Team: Manage 5–7 PMs, providing direction, coaching, and feedback aligned to product outcomes and team growth. 

• Unblock Scale: Drive a step-function improvement in how customers connect Alteryx to cloud data platforms—focusing on auth, permissions, reliability, and catalog alignment. 

• Elevate Connector Experience: Reimagine the setup and administration process to simplify integration with hundreds of cloud data sources. 

• Enable Extensibility: Expand support for connector creation through robust developer SDKs and tooling, empowering partners and customers to build and maintain their own integrations. 

• Streamline Operations: Ensure provisioning, governance, and platform observability are efficient and scalable for IT teams. 

• Customer Intimacy: Build relationships with IT stakeholders and admins to deeply understand deployment friction and platform expectations. 

• Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and PMM to ship robust, scalable capabilities. 

What You Bring: 

• 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles across complex technical surfaces. 

• Experience leading platform or integration teams—ideally in SaaS, data infrastructure, or enterprise software. 

• Strong technical fluency in data architecture, connectors, APIs, and security models (e.g., OAuth, SCIM, RBAC). 

• Confidence interfacing with IT buyers and enterprise stakeholders. 

• Ability to operate at altitude: define long-term strategy and ensure near-term execution quality.
