You bring the ability to reliably ship industrial mass-scale products across multiple product lines and market segments. You will own the Product function, including Product Management, Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Quality Management & Compliance, accountable for delivering product end-to-end, at an industrial scale.

Your mandate is to create a systemic capability to scale breakthrough technologies to global products, with coherence, speed, and quality, shaping what Orbem builds and how it gets to market. You maximize the impact of our technology to make the world better from the inside out.

• Deliver product coherence end-to-end. You own the product lifecycle end-to-end. You build the function that turns customer truth and company strategy into mass-scale products.

• Set the standard for what is good. Work with our Product Management, Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Quality Management & Compliance teams at Orbem to define areas of accountability, processes, and tactics to deliver with speed and quality.

• Build a product ecosystem. Bring product coherence, unifying experience, requirements, architecture, metrics, and compliance scaffolding.

• Regulatory Navigation. Guide product compliance and certifications across our product lines. Ensure compliance is a business enabler, not a blocker.

• Elevate the customer’s voice. Define the standard of customer evidence at Orbem to reach product viability and desirability.

• Build Team Capabilities. Create an organizational structure and fill it with functional expertise. Make the team strong by developing its people, processes, and tools.

• Translate science into a mass-scale product. Partner with Science to structure how application feasibility and AI/ML maturity flow through the development lifecycle. Partner with Operations to ensure that our products work on a global scale.

• Product success: Deliver viable, desirable, and feasible products on time, on quality, and within budget; maximizing company profit and impact.

• Strategic leadership: Translating Orbem’s product and technology strategy into roadmaps, programs, architectures, and compliance plans that move our product metrics across industries.

• Organization building: Hiring, mentoring, and leading a high-performing product function spanning from functional teams to cross-functional value creation structures that ship products.

• Roadmap & program ownership: Owning prioritization tactically and strategically. Making the tough “not now” calls.

• Quality & compliance posture: Building regulatory and quality strategy into product development from the start, not bolted on at the end.

• Industrial product DNA. You have shipped physical products in industrial environments at mass scale. You have leveraged hardware as a moat while iterating on AI and software.

• Scaleup operator. You have lived the 50→500 person scaling journey at a deep tech company, building the function that delivers globally successful products

• End-to-end product breadth. You have an engineering background, and you have built or led at least two of Product Management, Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Product Quality functions, and you understand how the others work. You can run all four as one team accountable for product coherence at an industrial scale.

• Customer-anchored. You can sit with a customer for a day, leave with a sharper problem statement than they had, and translate it into specs that can be shipped. Customer evidence is a discipline for you, not a slogan.

• Extreme ownership. You hold yourself and your organization fully accountable for product outcomes, not just product process. You have strong product sense to inform making the right decisions to ensure the right outcomes. When something breaks between product, science, engineering, operations, and commercial, you fix it.

• Architecture for Scale - You have led product architecture shifts from building individual products to building hardware platform products that enable scalable solutions across market segments.

• Leadership. 15+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years building organizations and shipping products.

• Communication. You can communicate product strategy across the company, define tactics, and strive for better yourself and your organization.

• Experience shipping embedded AI products (Physical AI)

• Experience as a Senior Director or VP-level

• Experience at a deep-tech scaleup that scaled from a few customers to global reach

• Experience with industrial life science

• Experience as an engineering leader

• Track record of highly successful products in the market
