We are looking for a qualified Senior Director of Measurement Partnerships to build, nurture, and grow relationships with measurement companies that will validate and support the performance of Ibotta campaigns. This person will work to ensure that investments in Ibotta are properly reflected in industry-standard measurement tools, like Media Mixed Modeling (MMM), as well as evangelize Ibotta’s own proprietary measurement methodology with industry experts and leading organizations such as Circana, Nielsen, Keen, Analytics Partners, etc. 

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Drive the strategy to engage and collaborate with industry-leading measurement companies

  • Sell in and negotiate key partnerships and manage existing partners

  • Drive a perspective on how Ibotta campaigns should be analyzed within these organizations by supporting model development and ongoing iterations, providing access to necessary data, being available to answer questions, and connecting partner organizations with other cross-functional teams such as client analytics. 

  • Build and deliver innovative presentations to prospective partners showcasing the value proposition of working with Ibotta

  • Own the entire business development process, gaining leadership buy-in, selling and negotiating partnerships, launching new pilots, and evolving those partnerships based on data-driven results 

  • Grow, maintain and leverage your network. Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships, close deals and maintain expertise in our industry

  • Maintain flexibility in area of focus, as you will be brought into other Business Development initiatives as those arise

  • Use innovation, creativity, process, and entrepreneurialism in every interaction you have, both externally and internally

  • Ensure that sales and partnership tactics align with the values, goals, and resources of the business

  • Ensure retention and growth of existing accounts through adept relationship management and education around new product enhancements

  • Work closely with other functional teams to ensure that our relationships with partners are driving expected results for Ibotta and its partners

  • Travel up to 30%

What we are looking for: 

  • 6-8 years of national B2B business development experience working with large partners in Measurement or similar relevant field

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Technical Skills: G Suite, Excel, Microsoft Suite

  • Demonstrated track record of success, including ability to pivot and problem solve during a complex BD/partnership process

  • Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker

  • Brilliant communication skills, both written and oral. Great presenter (candidates must do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)

  • Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal

  • Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, and ability to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur and to use creative thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders

  • Great analytical skills with an innate compulsion to measure the results of your work

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.

  • Base compensation range: $175,000-$190,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
