Zillow Rentals is building a best-in-class vertically integrated marketplace that connects renters with property owners and managers to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next, from large-scale multifamily communities to single family homes. About the role

This is an exciting senior leadership role within the Rentals team for someone to own, strategize, transform, and continuously improve our suite of supply-side products. We are looking for an expert business leader to lead the strategy and execution for our rapidly growing Multifamily Advertising business along with the supporting digital tools for partners spanning from large property management companies to small independent operators. You will lead a dedicated team of product managers making a huge impact on the course of both the company and renting across the country.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for a large part of the rapidly growing Rentals P&L and Rentals Product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, finance, legal, etc. to ensure the successful delivery of products and features.
  • Lead and develop a team of hardworking product managers and program managers to deliver best-in-class advertising products, rental management tools, and internal tools to scale the business.
  • Build, mentor, and grow an impactful team with a culture that prioritizes customer-centricity, innovation, and operational rigor.
  • Set the strategic direction for Rentals advertising solutions, pricing, sales promotions, and incentives and collaborate with the sales team to empower them with the necessary tools & resources to effectively sell.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and market trends, and make data supported decisions to optimize product offerings and drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with rentals industry trends and market dynamics, and use this knowledge to for innovation and differentiation.
  • Foster relationships among your team, peer leaders, and individuals across the Rentals business and Zillow Group overall.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $247,200.00 - $394,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

You possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a preferred focus on online marketplace platforms, digital advertising, or related industries.
  • 7+ years of experience leading teams, including a consistent track record of successfully leading product management teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience successfully running a sophisticated business or program with P&L ownership.
  • Outstanding eye for business, and ability to make data informed decisions with big financial impact.
  • Strong sense of ownership and capability to prioritize across multiple intersecting initiatives and deliver solutions to market.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing leaders and individual contributors
  • A degree in business, computer science, or an equivalent. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
