Are you a strategic leader with a proven ability to craft and execute global marketing strategies? Do you excel in both creative brand building and leading cross-functional teams? Join us at Georg Jensen as we seek a Senior Director, Marketing to drive brand growth and oversee our marketing efforts across all channels.

Reporting to our Vice President, Georg Jensen Business Unit, this high-impact role will define and implement our global marketing strategy, while leading an integrated team of creative and marketing professionals. This role will be based at our global headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT GEORG JENSEN

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global marketing and communications strategy that aligns with Georg Jensen’s vision, mission, and business goals. Refine target consumer segments and drive the brand’s long-term positioning in the luxury market

  • Commercial Calendar Management: Lead the creation and management of a global commercial calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities, sales targets, and key product launches. Collaborate closely with Retail, Merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure media planning, digital execution, and campaign delivery are optimized

  • Team Leadership: Empower, develop, and lead a diverse and integrated marketing team, including Brand Marketing, Creative, Retail Excellence & Visual Merchandising, and Marketing Activation across regions. Foster a collaborative and creative environment to deliver exceptional results

  • Brand Consistency: Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure that all marketing initiatives and brand communications reflect Georg Jensen’s visual identity and maintain consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, eCommerce, and retail teams, driving cohesive execution of marketing strategies across all channels. Build strong internal relationships, ensuring strategic alignment and feedback integration

  • Financial Accountability: In partnership with Finance, Merchandising, and DTC teams, set and monitor regional marketing budgets. Prioritize and optimize marketing investments to meet financial targets while driving impactful results

WHO YOU ARE

You are a visionary leader with 8+ years of senior marketing experience in the luxury goods industry. You excel at developing and executing global marketing strategies, driving both brand positioning and commercial outcomes. Known for leading high-performing teams, you foster collaboration and innovation while balancing strategic vision with business goals. Your strong financial acumen ensures marketing budgets are managed effectively, optimizing for maximum impact. Additionally, you have:

  • Proven ability to lead global marketing campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals

  • Expertise in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Sales, eCommerce, and Retail to drive cohesive strategies

  • Deep knowledge of omnichannel and digital marketing, with a track record of leveraging these strategies for business growth

  • Fluency in English, our working language, required. Danish is a plus

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
