Group/Division Summary:
LSG and LPG at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Japan collaborate to improve research and lab efficiency.
Position Summary:
As the Senior Director, LSG/LPG, you will play a pivotal role in our commercial success in Japan. Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager of Japan, you will lead our commercial teams to achieve ambitious growth targets. Your strategic insights and leadership will be crucial in implementing effective sales strategies and encouraging collaboration across various groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead LSG and LPG businesses, managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) for these groups.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to outperform competitors.
Drive growth through the One Thermo Fisher customer value proposition.
Ensure robust sales processes and effective use of CRM tools.
Support new product introductions and achieve revenue targets.
Foster a high-performing, diverse team with a strong pipeline of successors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficiency in Japanese and English.
20+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years in leadership roles.
Executive presence with outstanding leadership and mentoring skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement central initiatives.
Positive relationship management with customers and internal collaborators.
Dedication to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel as needed to meet business and customer requirements.
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
