About the Role

The Senior Director of Investor Services at SS&C Technologies, Inc. will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of investor services operations, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational efficiency for a portfolio of complex fund structures. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, regulatory requirements, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.

How You Will Make an Impact 

·       Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance investor services offerings and operational processes.

·       Manage and mentor a team of investor services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·       Oversee the end-to-end investor onboarding, capital call, distribution, transfer, and redemption processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

·       Act as a primary point of contact for key client relationships, addressing complex inquiries and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

·       Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including fund accounting, legal, compliance, and technology teams, to deliver integrated solutions.

·       Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

·       Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS) and internal policies.

·       Lead and participate in client presentations, due diligence meetings, and other client-facing activities.

·       Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting investor services.

·       Drive operational efficiencies through process automation and technology utilization.

 

Required Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

·       Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in investor services within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on alternative investments (e.g., private equity, hedge funds).

·       Proven leadership experience, including managing large teams and developing talent.

·       Extensive knowledge of investor services operations, including anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), FATCA, CRS, and other relevant regulations.

·       Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

·       Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

·       Proficiency with industry-standard investor services software and platforms.

·       Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

·       Strong understanding of fund structures, legal documents, and financial reporting.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $150,000 USD to $175,000 USD.

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
