Position Summary

Etnyre International is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Information Technology to lead the company's enterprise technology organization. This role is responsible for setting and executing the technology vision, strengthening cybersecurity, modernizing infrastructure and enterprise applications, and ensuring technology supports the company's growth, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives.

The successful candidate will be a transformational leader who can align technology investments with business priorities, drive innovation, build high-performing teams, and create a secure, scalable technology environment across a multi-site manufacturing organization. 

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Technology Leadership
  • Develop and execute the enterprise IT strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology, cybersecurity, risk management, and digital transformation.
  • Establish strong governance, service excellence, and accountability across the IT organization.
  • Lead technology initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, and acquisition integration. 
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Lead the enterprise cybersecurity program and continuously improve the organization's security posture.
  • Oversee identity management, network security, cloud security, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Manage cyber incident response and communicate technology risks effectively to executive leadership.
Infrastructure & Technology Modernization
  • Lead modernization of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud services, security architecture, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Develop architecture standards that improve reliability, scalability, and operational resilience.
  • Reduce technical debt while balancing modernization with manufacturing and operational requirements. 
ERP & Enterprise Applications
  • Provide strategic leadership for ERP and enterprise business systems.
  • Drive process standardization, integration, governance, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business leaders to maximize value from enterprise technology investments.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
  • Enable responsible adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead modernization initiatives that improve business performance, productivity, and decision-making.
  • Support technology due diligence and integration activities related to acquisitions. 
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop IT managers and technical professionals across multiple locations.
  • Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.
  • Develop leadership capability, succession plans, and organizational depth within the IT function. 
 
QualificationsQualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with responsibility for infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and technology strategy.
  • 5-7+ years of leadership experience managing managers, technical leaders, and multi-site teams.
  • Proven success leading enterprise technology transformations and strategic IT initiatives.
  • Experience managing technology budgets, vendors, and enterprise technology investments.
  • Strong executive communication and business partnership skills. 
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or operationally complex industry experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with ERP optimization, implementation, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, enterprise architecture, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or CMMC. 
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or comparable advanced cybersecurity credential strongly preferred.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of progressive enterprise IT experience
  • Significant leadership experience across infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, service delivery, and transformation
  • 7+ years of people-leadership experience
  • Experience leading distributed or multi-site teams
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year IT strategies, technology roadmaps, investment portfolios, and transformation initiatives
  • Experience operating in a complex manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operationally intensive environment
  • Experience managing IT budgets, strategic vendors, managed-service partners, and enterprise technology investments
  • Direct leadership experience building, materially maturing, or governing an enterprise cybersecurity program
  • Experience operationalizing NIST, CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001/27002, CMMC, or comparable security frameworks
  • Experience leading cyber incident response and crisis management
  • Knowledge of identity and privileged-access controls, vulnerability management, network and cloud security, endpoint security, security monitoring, third-party risk, backup resilience, and recovery architecture
  • Cybersecurity experience in manufacturing or operational-technology environments
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or comparable advanced cybersecurity credential
  • Experience modernizing Microsoft environments, including Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, collaboration, and security architecture
  • Understanding of hybrid infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, lifecycle management, architecture governance, service management, and business continuity
  • Experience governing and optimizing ERP environments in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operating environments
  • Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, consolidations, or major transformation programs
  • Understanding of ERP-enabled manufacturing, supply chain, planning, inventory, procurement, finance, and operational reporting processes
  • Experience driving business-process ownership, adoption, master-data discipline, integration governance, and enterprise-application value realization
  • Epicor ERP experience
  • Experience leading technology modernization, organizational change, or digital transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Experience evaluating and operationalizing AI, automation, analytics, or other emerging technologies under a governance and risk framework
  • Experience with acquisition due diligence, post-acquisition technology integration, platform consolidation, or multi-business-unit standardization
  • Experience building business cases, defining success measures, managing change, and sustaining adoption
  • Exceptional executive communication and ability to translate technical concepts and risks into business language
  • Ability to influence senior leaders across operations, supply chain, finance, engineering, human resources, and other functions
  • Strong financial and commercial judgment involving technology prioritization, vendor negotiations, cost/value tradeoffs, and benefits realization
  • Ability to build high-performing leadership teams, succession pipelines, and organizational accountability
