  • Deep functional expertise in Finance, including adequate knowledge of IT or Information Security, combined with demonstrated experience leading, overseeing or partnering effectively across the other functions.
  • Experience leading senior managers, functional leaders and subject-matter experts in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Significant experience operating in India within a US-headquartered multinational organization; experience in a SaaS or enterprise software company is preferred.
  • Experience working within a global matrix and balancing local organizational needs with global functional strategies, standards and accountabilities.
  • Strong general-management orientation, commercial judgment, and the ability to connect functional priorities with broader business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in building organizations, developing leadership capability, and creating high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Strong executive presence, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across different functions, geographies, and levels of leadership.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience managing multiple complex initiatives, setting priorities, and driving execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Sound understanding of governance, compliance, controls and enterprise risk in the Indian business environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Master’s degree / Professional Certification in Finance, Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
What you'll be doing:
  • Provide leadership for employees across Finance, Information Technology and Information Security, while maintaining close alignment with the respective global functional leaders.
  • Lead, coach and enable a team of experienced functional leaders and subject-matter experts, creating clarity of ownership, accountability and collaboration across the organization.
  • Translate global functional strategies into effective India execution plans, taking into consideration local business priorities, regulatory requirements and talent-market conditions.
  • Partner with the President and Managing Director, India, the Global Chief Financial Officer and other executive leaders to understand business priorities and ensure that the India CFO organization is positioned to support them.
  • Serve as a member of both the India leadership team and the CFO leadership team, representing the India organization and contributing to enterprise-wide decisions.
  • Establish an effective operating rhythm across the three functions, including business reviews, workforce planning, priority setting, risk management, the escalation of critical issues and driving AI-led growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with CFO organization peers and functional leaders in other geographies to ensure consistency, transparency, and effective global collaboration.
  • Partner with functional leaders and People teams to attract, retain, develop and engage high-performing talent across Finance, IT and Information Security.
  • Build leadership capability and succession pipelines within the India organization, with particular focus on developing strong functional leaders and future enterprise talent.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration in which local and global teams share knowledge, solve problems collectively, and operate with clear accountability.
  • Support appropriate governance, controls, compliance and risk-management practices across the functions, in partnership with the relevant global subject-matter experts.
