Job DescriptionTeam Summary
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's client-facing advisory division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, merchants, others) and solving their strategic and execution problems linked to payments / money movement, customer experience, profitability, new business build, etc. The role is part of a broader geographic cluster IPVMC (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia).
What a Sr. Director, Head of VCA Indonesia does at Visa:
As Head of VCA for Indonesia, you will be leading and responsible for the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) P&L in Indonesia. In this role, you are expected to:
- Establish and cultivate relationship with Visa’s clients and partners – Banks / Issuers, Acquirers, and Merchants & Fintech firms, by partnering with clients on a range of strategic and execution linked topics
- Lead business development and execution of advisory engagements in Indonesia
- Champion people leadership agenda for a fast-growing VCA team in Indonesia
- Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams (such as Marketing, Product, VAS, etc.) to bring holistic solution to our clients
- Be the face of the franchise and establish credibility in the market
This role has dual reporting to the geo Head of VCA for IPVMC (Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia) cluster, and to the Country Manager of Indonesia.

- Accelerating Cards P&L through more data-driven portfolio management processes
- Building AI-first hyper-personalization engines to power banks’ agenda
- Develop med-term payments roadmaps to win against emerging disruptors
- Building first-in-market propositions to expand reach of consumer credit
What you will need:
The ideal candidate will have strong consulting experience in Indonesia, is curious about the payments industry and is driven by delivering impact for clients.
- 10+ years of experience in top-tier FI / FS consulting in Indonesia (currently at Principal or Associate Partner level or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects / transformation programs at large banks, with clear ability to deliver outcomes
- Knowledge of emerging trends in the local payment landscape including Fintech
- Strong client stakeholder management skills and communication skills
- Experience and proven ability to attract, hire and retain top talent
- The successful candidate must be able to speak fluently in Bahasa
What will also help:
- MBA or equivalent education, certifications and/or business background
- Understanding of cards P&L & key drivers, merchant acquiring, SME banking
