Job Description Summary

The Senior Director, HCP Strategy will serve as the strategic lead for TA and indication-level HCP engagement strategy, and scientific storytelling across a multi-indication immunology portfolio. In this role, you’ll define the “what and why” of HCP strategy - market positioning, segmentation, value messaging, and field activation. This role will have 3-4 direct reports who will be focused on P2P and Field promotion.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead TA/indication-level HCP strategy for all approved and emerging indications. Define clear indication positioning, customer segmentation, and messaging frameworks that align to clinical data and access realities.

  • Translate clinical and market insights into actionable commercial strategies — balancing brand-level cohesion with TA/indication-level differentiation.

  • Own the HCP strategic engagement roadmap — from positioning to call-to-action — ensuring clarity, focus, and differentiation in every HCP touchpoint.

  • Partner with Field Leadership to strengthen executional excellence, including message flow, call quality, and account-level customization.

  • Drive insight-to-action cycles using call data, CRM analytics, and field feedback loops.

  • Ensure the HCP experience connects seamlessly with the patient journey for unified storytelling.

  • Lead effective MLR/PRC engagement and pre-alignment strategies to translate complex clinical data into compelling, compliant promotional narratives.

  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to integrate new data, evolving science, and emerging insights into educational content.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across cross functional teams including Medical, Access, Field, and Analytics

  • Act as the HCP strategic counterpart to the Omnichannel (HCP + Patient) Marketing Lead, ensuring brand strategy informs journey design and content orchestration.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

  • 12+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with leadership experience across HCP strategy, field promotion, and digital innovation.

  • Demonstrated success leading multi-indication or lifecycle brands, preferably in immunology, specialty, or rare disease.

  • Deep understanding of HCP engagement models, market access landscape and distribution channels

  • Has experience leading teams and managing direct reports

  • Proven experience collaborating with Omnichannel or Integrated Marketing functions to align strategy and execution.

  • Strong track record in peer-to-peer programming and field readiness.

  • Excellent communication, influence, and executive presence skills.

Cultural Attributes
  • Leads with tact and influence — demonstrates judgment, composure, and balance under pressure; communicates with clarity and respect even amid differing viewpoints.

  • Acts with scientific integrity and patient-first focus in every decision.
