About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
The Senior Director Field Marketing, North America and Asia Pacific is responsible for driving Fivetran brand awareness and demand with data and analytics decision-makers in the enterprise and commercial business segments. This role will support the Fivetran business and sales teams through innovative marketing strategies and execution. You will lead a stellar team of marketers responsible for executing region-specific strategies in North America and Asia Pacific, driving campaign and event strategy that resonates with customers and prospects and delivers measurable impact. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong blend of strategic vision, sales partnership, event management expertise, and leadership skills.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland or Denver office or remotely in CA or CO.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, build and evolve effective marketing plans that meet/exceed pipeline goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and addressable market to guide regional priorities, with deep understanding of market and competitive environment.
- Develop and execute customer-driven, regional marketing strategies and programs to increase brand awareness, demand, pipeline, product usage, retention and expansion.
- Work closely with teams across Marketing to formulate and execute launches, integrated campaigns, and account-based marketing plans.
- Lead the teams that own execution for >100 events per year, including Fivetran-hosted events, 3rd party and partner conferences, field and executive events. Ensure seamless execution from concept to post-event analysis.
- Manage the Account-Based Marketing team, responsible for 1:1 and 1:few programs targeting strategic and enterprise customers and prospects.
- Closely monitor KPIs and metrics to measure program effectiveness. Analyze data to optimize programs and demonstrate ROI to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to develop relevant messaging, positioning, and region-specific content plans.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance execution and maximize sponsorship opportunities.
- Hire and coach top talent. Recruit, train, and motivate a dynamic organization of marketing leaders and individual contributors, empowering them with the skills to meet and exceed KPIs.
Skills We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of Marketing leadership experience with a focus on partnering with regional Sales leaders to drive pipeline.
- 7+ years experience managing a team of 3+ members.
- Experience working for technology companies selling to global enterprises.
- Track record of designing and executing high-performing, integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth with senior executive audiences.
- Deep understanding of event operations, agency management and industry standards for events targeting the enterprise segment.
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of delivering against pipeline targets.
- Experience fostering a high-performance team culture.
