Hearst is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director, Events Marketing to lead the planning, execution and evolution of the company’s corporate events portfolio. The Senior Director will oversee the strategy, development and execution of high-profile events that strengthen Hearst's reputation, support business objectives and foster meaningful connections across the organization and beyond. From executive conferences and leadership forums to employee engagement initiatives, philanthropic programs and client-facing events, this role serves as a key steward of the Hearst brand experience.

Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy that supports Hearst's corporate priorities, business objectives and brand reputation.
Lead the creation of engaging event concepts and experiences that reflect Hearst's culture, values and leadership position.
Identify innovative event formats, technologies and industry trends to ensure Hearst remains forward-thinking and relevant.
Partner with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to develop event experiences that drive engagement and deliver measurable impact.
Lead the exploration and adoption of AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation in event design, audience engagement, content development, and event analytics.
Lead the planning and execution of Hearst's corporate events portfolio, including executive conferences, client events, employee engagement initiatives, leadership programs, philanthropic events and special projects.
Oversee event logistics, production, presentations, venues, catering, décor, technology, registration and communications.
Manage Hearst Tower event reservations and coordinate with Facilities, Dining Services, IT and other internal teams.
Ensure flawless execution and a consistently high standard of quality across all events.
Lead and develop internal team members while overseeing external agencies, vendors, and production partners to ensure successful delivery of Hearst’s events portfolio and a consistently high standard of execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, business leaders, clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison between Hearst and external vendors, agencies, venues and production partners.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and service.
Develop, manage and track event budgets.
Establish timelines, processes and project management systems that support successful execution across multiple initiatives.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York City, is $150,000 - $185,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York City. If this role is open to candidates outside of New York City, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
