ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Director of Engineering for our Asset Data Platform, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for multiple engineering teams or product domains. Arctic Wolf’s proprietary Asset Data Platform processes billions of events and manages the posture and visibility of millions of assets across all our customers. You will interface will many application teams to ensure that the Asset Data Platform meets their needs and enables success for multiple products.
You will be accountable for shaping the long-term technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensure delivery of high quality, secure, scalable, and customer-centric solutions. The Senior Director will partner with executive leadership across R&D, Product Management, Security Services (S2), and other business units to align engineering execution with corporate objectives. This leader will build a culture of excellence, foster organizational agility, and ensure engineering capabilities scale with business growth.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL GET TO:
Define and execute multi-year engineering strategies that support corporate vision and growth objectives.
Influence company-wide technology decisions and contribute to enterprise architecture strategy.
Drive alignment between engineering priorities and business outcomes through executive-level collaboration.
Champion innovation and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Oversee multiple engineering teams or product portfolios, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering performance, quality, and velocity across the organization.
Develop and mentor people leaders and senior technical leaders, building a strong leadership bench.
Optimize resource allocation across global teams to meet strategic objectives.
Partner with Finance and HR on workforce planning and organizational design.
Ensure engineering execution aligns with regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years’ experience, leading large-scale, global software engineering organizations.
Extensive Cybersecurity experience and must have experience around building and transforming large scale distributed systems.
Extensive experience in managing organizations that deliver and manage SaaS Products – especially on AWS.
Extensive PDLC experience aligned with Agile methodologies like SAFe and leading teams through PI Planning and Agile Release Trains.
Strong technical acumen with ability to influence architectural decisions.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Exhibit a strong analytical mindset, approaching problems with structured thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Act as a go-getter, proactively identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and driving results.
Show a keen interest in participating in the design of algorithms and solving computational challenges.

You have a history of delivering successful projects, as well as some lessons learned from failures. Even if you haven’t worked with all of our specific technologies, you bring a diverse knowledge base that you use to help the team solve complex technical problems. You’ll receive all the security training you need during our onboarding process and through additional training on the job
