Job Summary
The Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (DIO Finance) serves as the strategic finance leader supporting the Digital and Innovation Organization. This role partners closely with the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO) and DIO leadership team to provide financial leadership, planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and decision support that enable successful execution of the technology strategy.
The Senior Director leads a team of finance professionals globally responsible for managing the financial performance of the DIO organization, including operating expenses, capital investments, technology portfolios, workforce and capacity planning, vendor spend, anda transformation initiatives. As a trusted advisor, the role delivers actionable insights, challenges assumptions, identifies optimization opportunities, and drives financial discipline across the DIO function.
Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
Serve as the primary finance partner to the CDIO and DIO leadership team. Support development and execution of the organization’s technology strategy through financial planning and analysis
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, investment trade-offs, and funding priorities
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes for the DIO organization
Translate complex technical and financial detail into concise, executive- and board-ready narratives, including value framing, funding asks, and risk trade-offs
Technology Investment Management
Evaluate business cases for technology investments, digital transformation initiatives, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity programs, enterprise systems and AI investments
Assess alternatives, expected returns, and benefits realization to support resource allocation decisions
Provide financial oversight of labor, infrastructure, cloud, software, and vendor spending
Able to generate, assess, operate business cases for technology portfolio
Performance Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support
Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting to monitor financial and operational performance
Conduct scenario modeling, investment analysis, and decision support for strategic initiatives and technology roadmaps
Partner with Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, HR, Project Management Office and Finance Transformation teams to align plans and governance
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A or business finance leadership responsibilities
CPA, CFA, MBA a plus
Experience supporting Information Technology organizations or technology-intensive functions
Demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders to influence investment and operational decisions
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business case development
Experience leading and developing high-performing geographically spread finance teams
Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, digital transformation, or software development organizations
Knowledge of technology financial management principles, including CapEx, OpEx, software engineering capitalization, cloud economics, and vendor management
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 177,000 - 265,000 USD / Annual
United States - Tampa Office TAO : 177,000 - 265,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 182,000 - 272,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
