Kroll is seeking an accomplished, commercially focused Senior Director to lead its Discovery & Analytics Solutions practice across Latin America, based in São Paulo. This role serves as the head of eDiscovery for LATAM, responsible for revenue growth, P&L performance, client expansion, and operational delivery across the region.
The Senior Director will oversee a São Paulo–based team, direct complex discovery and investigation matters, and collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders across Cyber and other Kroll service lines. This individual will also play a visible thought‑leadership role in the LATAM legal, technology, and investigations markets.
This is a replacement role, continuing the leadership and strategic direction of an established and growing practice. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Discovery & Analytics Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership & P&L Ownership
Lead the LATAM eDiscovery practice, including strategy, operations, team management, and regional execution.
Own P&L responsibilities for the practice: revenue forecasting, budgeting, margin optimization, and financial performance.
Oversee São Paulo–based delivery team, ensuring high-quality and defensible work across collection, processing, hosting, review, and production.
Revenue Growth & Client Leadership
Serve as the senior client-facing leader for eDiscovery matters across Brazil and other LATAM jurisdictions.
Drive new business generation, proposal development, and account expansion initiatives.
Deepen relationships with law firms, corporate legal teams, and multinational clients to expand market share and secure recurring engagements.
Cross-Service Line Partnership & Collaboration
Act as a senior regional partner to Cyber, Investigations Diligence and Compliance (IDC) and other service lines:
Support integrated engagements where investigations, breach response, cybersecurity, and data analytics intersect with eDiscovery.
Work with global Relativity, AI/automation, and technical teams on platform innovation and workflow evolution.
Operational Excellence & Technical Oversight
Direct matter intake, scoping, workflow design, and delivery across large, complex, multilingual datasets.
Serve as an escalation point for technical, legal, or cross-border issues, including LGPD, GDPR, and regulatory constraints.
Ensure adherence to Kroll global methodologies and implementation of new technologies (including AI‑enabled workflows).
Thought Leadership & Market Presence
Represent Kroll at regional conferences, industry forums, legal associations, and partner events.
Publish thought leadership, speak on panels, and elevate Kroll’s profile within the LATAM eDiscovery and investigations community.
Build relationships with ecosystem partners, technology vendors, and industry groups to strengthen market reputation.
Essential Traits & Qualifications:
10–15+ years of experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, litigation support, or adjacent fields.
Demonstrated leadership of a practice or business unit with P&L accountability.
Proven ability to grow revenue, win complex engagements, and build long‑term client relationships.
Expertise with Relativity and enterprise‑scale review technologies; experience with AI‑assisted workflows preferred.
Strong understanding of LATAM data privacy and regulatory frameworks, including LGPD and cross-border transfer requirements.
Experience managing and developing high-performing delivery teams.
Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish strongly preferred.
A recognized presence in the region through thought leadership, conference participation, or professional associations.
