Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Senior Director, Corporate Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and reinforcing our position as a category leader in digital accessibility! This role is responsible for developing and driving comprehensive corporate communications and content strategies that elevate our brand, generate demand, and engage key audiences. A critical component of this role involves using thought leadership, first-party research, and content marketing to showcase our expertise and influence industry discourse. Content and communications are an integral part of our strategy to increase awareness of digital accessibility barriers, help educate the market on digital accessibility solutions, use content marketing to attract and retain customers, and help shape our positions and thought leadership strategies!

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Content Leadership

  • Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy that aligns with business objectives, drives demand generation, and supports revenue growth.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content assets, including web content, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and first-party research reports, positioning Level Access as an inspiring leader in digital accessibility.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to produce content that addresses customer needs and market trends.

Demand Content

  • Collaborate with demand generation teams to build high-impact content, including whitepapers, eBooks, and blogs, to drive lead acquisition and nurturing.
  • Create web content to support SEO campaigns and drive top-of-funnel awareness
  • Ensure all content aligns with SEO standard processes and supports top-of-funnel awareness and mid-funnel engagement.
  • Develop tailored assets for campaigns, including ABM initiatives, to support pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Support the planning of events, ranging from content creation and messaging to reinforcing brand identity, ensuring cohesive presentation and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyze content performance and optimize strategies to improve demand generation return on investment.

Corporate Communications

  • Lead corporate communications initiatives to enhance brand awareness and category leadership.
  • Lead media relations, securing coverage in key industry publications and mainstream media.
  • Develop executive communications, including speeches, bylined articles, and presentations, to amplify our leadership's voice in the industry.
  • Be responsible for the strategy and execution of organic social media, improving engagement and reinforcing our brand narrative across platforms.

Thought Leadership and Research

  • Drive the development of thought leadership content, using first-party research to provide unique industry insights and influence market conversations.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to produce authoritative content that educates the market and differentiates Level Access.

Managing Brand and Creative

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a cohesive and compelling brand identity across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead creative initiatives, including design, multimedia, and messaging, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative assets that support campaigns, events, and corporate initiatives.
  • Continuously refine and evolve the brand strategy to reflect market trends and reinforce the company’s category-leading position.

Content Marketing and Distribution

  • Supervise content marketing campaigns that effectively distribute content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, social media, and industry events.
  • Use analytics to measure content performance and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators and communication professionals, encouraging a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Handle external agencies and contractors to scale content production as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in corporate communications and content strategy, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing content and communication strategies that drive business growth and establish thought leadership.
  • Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging manner.
  • Experience conducting and using first-party research to build compelling content.
  • Strong media relations and/or owned media strategy skills and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading content and creative teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
