CSCS TXCaliber’s Senior Director, Corporate Communications will report to the Chief People Officer leading all internal communications and will partner closely with our CEO and Executive Leadership Team acting as a strong ambassador for the brand. By continuously finding ways to position our culture, strategy, mission, vision, and values to drive engagement for all teammates, this leader plays a critical role in Caliber’s continued growth.
Success Looks Like:
- This leader will develop and deploy strategic campaigns and an innovative communications strategy to establish and position Caliber’s culture and brand in a multi-unit, distributed service model.
- This leader will oversee and lead a talented communications team encompassing both internal and external areas of expertise.
- This leader will lead a team that is inspired by Caliber’s core values and driven by Caliber’s company objectives to build a healthy culture internally and protect its reputation externally.
- This leader will develop a strategy, and if needed, will lead the company’s communications outreach through a variety of crisis scenarios.
- This leader will ensure that company compliance and code of conduct policies apply to all communications.
- This leader will intentionally build a talent pipeline that ensures continuity and excellence in the corporate communications function.
- This leader will use a wide variety of tools, channels, and modalities with a digital-first approach to reach our over 30,000 teammates (and growing) across 40+ states and multiple lines of business.
Internal Focus:
- Develop strategy for the CEO’s communications internally. Partner with the CEO to build a best-in-class example of what communication excellence in a leader looks like.
- Serve as a key business partner to Caliber’s executive staff in all facets of internal communications and ensure timely information is shared using appropriate channels.
- Develop creative approaches for teammate communications that supports Caliber’s business objectives and engagement goals.
- Design outreach to teammates that drive three main goals – inform, inspire and motivate.
- Partner with the CEO to develop talking points for chosen speaking engagements, interactions with news media, and community events.
You Will Need:
- 10 years or more of progressive experience in related fields and leading teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record and passion for applying communications tools and digital technology.
- Experience in providing ongoing data management and campaign performance reporting.
- Experience in corporate communications, brand management, news media and social media content and engagement.
- Ability to quickly generate quality content for a variety of platforms (e.g., digital marketing, social media, thought leadership, company promotion and advancement, etc.).
- Must possess strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must be adaptive, flexible, and able to function effectively in a highly complex situation with a proven ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
