WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Reporting into our Senior VP of Sales, this individual will drive global sales and commercial excellence across the Sales and Customer Care organization by leading transformation initiatives and optimizing processes to improve sales productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the commercial and technical support functions throughout the entire customer journey—from initial engagement through post-sale and aftermarket support.
  • Implement a structured framework to align strategic initiatives with measurable success metrics and ensure effective execution across the organization.
  • Lead annual quota planning process, including quota setting, deployment, performance tracking, forecasting, and analytics, while developing and maintaining a comprehensive playbook to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Own and accelerate the transformation toward a data-driven sales organization by standardizing reporting and developing analytics that enable informed decision-making across Sales and Customer Care.
  • Drive the vision and development of CRM systems as the core platform for all sales engagement.
  • Establish and maintain a scalable enablement ecosystem that promotes training, drives tool adoption, and supports continuous improvement to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Partner with sales leadership to support sales strategy and planning, including segmentation, targeting, channel strategy, and resource deployment.

 

YOU HAVE:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in sales operations or excellence leadership roles within a global manufacturing environment, including 5+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience working within Salesforce.com or a similar CRM system.
  • Merger and Acquisition experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in process development, project management, and related organizational change.
  • Strong affinity towards digital innovation. Practical experience in driving large investments in global digital projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% required.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

 

Compensation Range: $205,000-$305,000

 

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.
