Role:  Senior Director, Commercial Execution NEF 

Location: Nigeria/Egypt

We are seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Execution- NEF to lead the development and deployment of scalable, channel-based strategies that transform how we connect with shoppers and customers across the Nigeria and Egypt Franchise. This role is critical in shaping long-term strategic roadmaps, integrating advanced analytics into channel planning, and redefining collaboration models to ensure seamless alignment across marketing, commercial, and bottler teams. 

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with deep expertise in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), commercial execution, and channel strategy. They will have a proven ability to influence at the highest levels, drive system-wide alignment, and deliver measurable impact on topline and bottom-line performance. 

 

What You'll Do for Us 

  • Lead the creation of end-to-end channel strategies and playbooks for the Operating Unit (OU), rooted in shopper and channel insights, to increase purchase incidence and basket size while connecting with relevant consumption occasions. 

  • Own the commercial agenda, including channel development, execution strategy, and Value-to-Market (VTM) strategy, ensuring these strategies are embedded and activated through frontline commercial teams. 

  • Drive all channel planning for the OU and support country teams in creating annual channel plans that deliver OU strategies. This includes defining clear programs, calendars, PICOS standards, and fact-based KPIs to guide execution. 

  • Influence executive leadership on commercial strategies tied to key big bets, such as outlet segmentation, RED coverage methodologies, PICOS, and execution fundamentals. 

  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to embed shopper-centric solutions into brand campaigns and create actionable playbooks that enhance channel effectiveness. 

  • Ensure strong alignment between category plans, franchise needs, and channel execution strategies to deliver cohesive commercial outcomes. 

  • Partner with OU Commercial & Customer Leadership (C&CL), Franchise GMs, and bottling partners to pioneer new capabilities and share best practices across the system. 

  • Build and sustain a robust commercial execution talent pipeline through innovative recruitment, development, and succession strategies. 

  • Proactively assess market dynamics, shopper trends, and omnichannel transformation to recommend new directions and solutions that accelerate growth. 

  • Engage frequently with internal and external senior leaders to ensure proactive problem solving, sharing and synergizing of best practice across markets alignment and successful implementation of strategies across the Nigeria and Egypt Franchises. 

 

 

Requirements & Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), commercial execution, channel strategy, or VTM within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. 

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale commercial strategy development and execution across multiple markets and complex, matrixed organizations. 

  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior leadership and driving alignment across global and regional teams. 

  • Deep understanding of Coca-Cola system economics, bottler operations, and route-to-market models. 

  • Strong experience in annual business planning, forecasting, and integrating advanced analytics into commercial decision-making. 

  • Expertise in channel segmentation, shopper insights, and omnichannel strategy development. 

  • Track record of building and developing high-performing teams and talent pipelines. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver measurable results under pressure. 

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse markets. 

  • Strong networking and matrix management capabilities to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
