Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director will help shape the company's strategic capital market capabilities, partnering with leaders across the organization to evaluate opportunities, execute complex financing transactions, and support MEI's long-term growth.

We are looking for someone who brings both strategic perspective and strong execution, enjoys solving complex problems, and builds trusted partnerships across teams. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable advising executive leadership, collaborating cross-functionally, and working through the details needed to move important initiatives forward.

  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership to evaluate financing strategies, capital allocation decisions, and strategic opportunities that support MEI's continued growth.
  • Lead complex financing transactions from evaluation and structuring through execution and close, helping ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with lenders, investors, financial institutions, and external advisors to strengthen MEI's financing capabilities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to bring together the right stakeholders, evaluate opportunities, execute financing initiatives, and support MEI's continued growth.
  • Strengthen and scale the Finance organization by improving processes, sharing expertise, and helping build the capabilities needed to support a growing platform.
What Success Looks Like

In your 6-12 months, you will:

  • Become a trusted thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • Lead the successful execution of complex financing initiatives, including large debt and equity raises, that support MEI's growth strategy.
  • Strengthen MEI's relationships with financing partners while expanding the company's capital capabilities.
  • Help establish scalable processes and operating discipline that enable the Finance organization to grow alongside the business.
What Will Help You Succeed
  • 8+ years of experience across strategic finance, project finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, corporate finance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading complex financing transactions from structuring through execution.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based financing structures.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, paired with sound business judgment.
