The Senior Director of Business Intelligence will oversee all aspects of our Business Intelligence (“BI”) platform and staff. The Senior Director of Business Intelligence will manage a team of BI engineers responsible for all data modeling and transformation. They will be an integral strategic partner involved in the development, monitoring and improvements in data visualization across all departments. This person will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and other leaders. The Senior Director of Business Intelligence will design a data management and reporting structure that provides users with the most relevant information to make optimal strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Director of Business Intelligence will strive for constant improvements of BI’s policies, processes and systems.
A successful Senior Director of Business Intelligence will leverage their strong strategic, managerial, and time management skills to provide best in class data management and reporting. They will manage their team to maximize efficiency and productivity. This person will demonstrate a collaborative mindset and be able to work effectively across all areas of the organization.

Essential Job Duties
- Develop and implement strategic vision for the department considering varied demands and users across the organization.
- Begin movement from reporting to analytical and predictive.
- Oversee all aspects of data visualization support for key data consumers.
- Manage team of engineers, analysts and project managers for maximum effectiveness.
- Cultivate, assess, and understand data and reporting needs across all users.
- Acquire a familiarity and broad understanding of applications used for Business Intelligence reporting and visualization including: Dagster, SQL, Python, Tableau.
- Develop a working knowledge of organization history and operations to better assess how BI can best support programs and operations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet or exceed completion date objectives.
- Develop training, support and expectations for Visual Creators/Analysts across all departments.
- Oversee implementation and regular QA of Data Governance Committee decisions.
- Evaluate and implement BI application expansion option (ie: Tableau AI, Data Warehouse, other).
- Working knowledge of Pharmacy operational and financial data (including 340B).

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a dynamic Business Intelligence/Analytics organization.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience:
- Leading and developing people; fostering a collaborative, mission driven team environment that supports high quality care and community impact.
- Strategic data roadmap experience.
- With data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and back-end infrastructure data warehousing solutions.
- Demonstrated achievement of SLA/KPIs for department success.
- Data Governance Creation and management/adherence experience.
- Experience working with C-suite and board members.
- Project management experience.
- Soft Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing financial records, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports with accuracy, and filing documentation.
- Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information, adhering to professional codes of conduct and organizational policies.

Pay Rate
$150,000/annually - $159,000/annually (Depending on Experience)
The final salary will be determined based on factors such as market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications. Please note that it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
