The Role and What You’ll Do:

160over90 is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development in our Philadelphia office. We’re a full-service creative agency that partners with bold brands to craft unforgettable campaigns, experiences, and stories. Our team thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and culture, and our services include Branding, Partnerships, Experiential, Paid Media, Video and Content Production, PR/Creator/Social, Entertainment Marketing, Digital and more!

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Business Development to lead our growth strategy, identify new opportunities, and build lasting client relationships. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the creative industry and a passion for driving business impact through innovative marketing solutions.

As Senior Director, Business Development, you will play a key role in developing and shepherding new business opportunities through the sales funnel from ideation, pitch to contract execution. Your role will be to work cross-functionally across the organization to identify and present a compelling new business pitch that delivers agency results tied to the client’s KPI’s. You will focus on networking, making connections, building relationships and pursing opportunities.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with agency goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with brands across industries.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, outreach, and partnerships.
  • Partner with leadership to define ideal client profiles and target verticals.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Lead pitch development, including RFP responses, presentations, and proposal writing.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to shape compelling solutions for prospective clients.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Track and report on KPIs, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.
  • Transition new business to Client Service and Production teams

You Have These:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client services within a creative, advertising, or marketing agency.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a passion for leading.
  • Proven track record of winning high-value accounts and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of agency services including branding, digital marketing, content, and experiential.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
