Accelerate Drug Development. Shape the Future of Pharmaceutical Innovation.

At Quotient Sciences, we're redefining how medicines reach patients.

As a leading CRDMO (Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organization), we combine drug product development, GMP manufacturing and clinical pharmacology under one integrated operating model. Our unique Translational Pharmaceutics® platform enables pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to rapidly progress molecules from formulation development into clinical testing, generating data faster, reducing development risk and accelerating decision-making.

We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Director of Business Development to lead growth across the West Coast territory, driving new business opportunities for our Translational Pharmaceutics® and Clinical Pharmacology services. This is a high-impact role for an experienced business development professional who thrives on winning new business, building strategic client relationships and helping customers solve complex drug development challenges.

If you're passionate about early development, understand the small molecule landscape, and enjoy bringing innovative solutions to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across Quotient Sciences' integrated CRDMO offering.

A strong hunter mentality is essential. While the territory includes a portfolio of existing accounts, success in this role will be driven by your ability to consistently generate and win new business from emerging biotech, specialty pharma and large pharmaceutical organizations.

You will sell a differentiated solution that few organizations can offer: the ability to integrate formulation development, on-demand GMP manufacturing and clinical pharmacology studies within a single development pathway. By leveraging Translational Pharmaceutics®, you'll help clients accelerate programs, generate clinical data earlier and make better development decisions faster.

The successful candidate will bring strong market awareness across early development, clinical pharmacology and drug product development, combined with exceptional sales, networking and relationship-building skills.

Regular travel throughout the West Coast territory, attendance at industry conferences and visits to Quotient Sciences' US and UK facilities will be required.

  • Drive new business opportunities across Quotient Sciences' integrated CRDMO service offering.
  • Promote and position Translational Pharmaceutics® and Clinical Pharmacology services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with scientific, operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Educate customers on the value of integrating development, manufacturing and clinical testing within a single partner model.
  • Lead the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation and contract execution.
  • Partner with technical, operational and scientific teams to develop compelling client solutions.
  • Drive territory growth while maintaining commercially appropriate project margins.
  • Lead customer presentations, commercial negotiations and strategic business reviews.
  • Expand existing customer relationships while continually generating opportunities with new clients.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and account information within Salesforce.
  • Represent Quotient Sciences at conferences, partnering events, trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Remain informed of industry developments, competitive activity, emerging technologies and market trends within the small molecule development landscape.
