The Role

Leidos is seeking a Senior Director of Growth for GSA FEDSIM who will lead growth functions for a FEDSIM Center of Excellence under Capture Operations & Excellence.  This includes the responsibility of maturing and expanding Leidos’s FEDSIM opportunity pipeline across all contract vehicles.   This position will grow and mature business relationships to support ability to drive work to FEDSIM through, bundling requirements, multi-tenants, shaping requirements to best position Leidos on emerging requirements.  Bring synergy and growth activities to establish a viable opportunity list to all Sectors growth initiatives.  

The Senior Director will lead FEDSIM growth activities, establishing and maturing growth processes to optimize customer/client engagement activities while being a key member of the Corporate Growth Team.  The role will partner with operational and functional leaders across the company to help establish best practices for shaping opportunities integrated within the FEDSIM acquisition model.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Expand the Leidos GSA FEDSIM pipeline across all GSA contract vehicles

  • Catalysis for driving customer engagements and strategies in support of Leidos growth goals and initiatives

  • Develop and grow an FEDSIM pipeline with Sector Growth leaders, Account Managers, Programs and Campaign Plan leaders

  • Attend Industry Partnership Council (IPC) meeting and contributing awareness and distributing intelligence to the Leidos growth organization.

  • Foster communications with Government customers on FEDSIM vehicles working with GSA FEDSIM growth leaders, Sector Directors and Group Managers.

  • Prosecute FEDSIM CoE pursuit strategy aligned with the Leidos Win Plan in support of early client engagement, business case maturity inclusive of identifying Leidos value proposition with customers.

  • Develop and improve competitive insight and position to win, for both new work to FEDSIM and upcoming recompeted and/or priority program.

  • Establish a governance for growth through customer engagement and integration of acquisition strategy with government customers

  • Make recommendations for change or modification to strategy based on results of customer engagement.

  • Mentor pursuit teams in required people, process, tools used to be successful in shaping business to FEDSIM.

  • Integrate solutions from lead solution architect to help drive client engagement through solutions offered to customer challenges.

  • Identify and develop approaches to mitigate risks associated with business pursuits by identifying gaps and alternatives to help lower risks.

  • Analyze and share business intelligence to support the development of a maturing FEDSIM opportunity

  • Drive collaboration with Sector growth leaders to improve overall bid posture, for new work, recompetes and take aways.

  • Lead growth discussions around FEDSIM bid practices, evaluation methodologies, meeting events like MAD, Due Diligence, Orals and debriefs.

Required Qualifications: 

  • 15+ years with BS/BA or 13+ years with MS/MA

  • Minimum 10 years working to support acquisition delivery for AAS

  • Experience leading teams and developing mutual beneficial partner relationships with peer and other vendors

  • Ability to design and execute multi-phased sales strategies for targeted pursuits in support of growth initiatives with government agencies, COCOMs and Armed Services

  • Lead AAS/FEDSIM business development strategies to support acquisition shaping and pipeline development for Leidos growth objectives

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years working in AAS FEDSIM

  • 5yrs experience specifically working FEDSIM acquisitions.

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
