Role Overview
The Senior Director, Actuarial Solutions is responsible for bridging the gap between corporate technology and actuarial teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across Prudential’s functions and local business units. This role will define the vision for the overall architecture of actuarial solutions, lead the selection and implementation of systems, and drive the delivery of a robust platform that supports shared service functions in producing regular financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between corporate technology teams and actuaries, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and articulate the vision for the actuarial platform architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of systems and tools to support actuarial processes and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including finance, IT, risk, and operations—across Prudential’s local business units to ensure successful platform deployment.
- Oversee the delivery and ongoing enhancement of a shared service platform for regular financial reporting, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Champion best practices in system integration, data management, and actuarial analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in actuarial functions, financial reporting, and technology-driven solutions in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record in system selection, architecture specification, and platform delivery for actuarial or financial applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards for actuarial reporting.

Reporting & Location
This position reports to the Group Chief Actuary and will work closely with both Finance and Technology leadership. The role may require travel to various Prudential business units and locations.
