Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building the digital marketing function from the ground up. This greenfield opportunity allows you to shape and implement a strategy that directly supports our commercial objectives. Your work will improve digital visibility, drive high-quality leads, and ultimately increase order intake.

You will also contribute to the selection and implementation of new digital marketing tools, potentially marketing automation. As our digital capabilities continue to evolve, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a building phase.

You will report directly to the Senior Director Marketing and act as a strategic advisor and hands-on expert. You’ll develop and execute the digital marketing roadmap, manage external agencies, define and report on KPIs, and lay the foundation for scalable digital marketing practices within the business unit.

This role requires someone with a strong B2B digital marketing background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a matrixed organization. As the digital marketing function grows, this position is expected to evolve into a leadership role with team management responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute digital marketing initiatives in line with the business growth goals and overall marketing strategy.

  • Build a solid digital foundation including tools, processes, KPIs, dashboards, and governance.

  • Collaborate closely with the central (Group) Digital Channels team to ensure alignment, leverage best practices, and drive integrated

  • digital marketing efforts across the organization.

  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new digital marketing tools by defining functional requirements, assessing potential solutions, and providing recommendations for final selection and rollout.

  • Prepare and support the development of lead generation and nurturing capabilities, including workflows and lead scoring, as tooling becomes available

  • Engage and manage digital marketing agencies to support SEO, SEA, social media advertising, and content distribution.

  • Collaborate with Sales to optimize lead management and ensure seamless handover and follow-up.

  • Establish a robust performance measurement framework, including UTM tracking, CRM campaign tagging, and dashboarding.

  • Continuously analyze digital performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth, report insights to stakeholders, and implement improvements to maximize impact.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior marketing leadership on digital marketing trends, technologies, and priorities.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within B2B industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Proven ability to build and scale digital marketing programs from strategy to execution.

  • Hands-on experience across various digital marketing disciplines, including lead management, marketing automation, CRM systems, SEO, SEA, website conversion rate optimization, digital marketing analytics, and marketing performance reporting.

  • Strong experience working in and navigating international matrix organizations.

  • Comfortable working both strategically and operationally - a “builder” mindset is essential.

  • Experience managing external agencies and driving performance through partnerships.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
