The opportunity

As a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, your job responsibilities will include management of dashboards for the SEO & paid media teams, analysis of data to determine actionable business insights, and coordination of digital marketing reports. You’ll help optimize our digital marketing efforts, use data to help increase our web conversion rates, and measure the effectiveness of our web presence.

You’ll be the go-to for digital marketing data questions, new analytical views, and digital channel and product insights. Success in this role requires a focus on data accuracy, a positive attitude, and a dedication to learning new skills and tools.

What you'll do

  • Collect, extract, and integrate data from various digital marketing sources such as websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and advertising campaigns.
  • Work with APIs and data connectors to ensure a smooth flow of data into analytical systems.
  • Connect and draw insights across multiple data sets to create a comprehensive picture
  • Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Handle missing data and outliers effectively to maintain data integrity.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive marketing strategies.
  • Utilize statistical techniques to identify correlations and relationships within the data.
  • Build predictive models to forecast trends, customer behavior, and future campaign performance.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize campaign performance.
  • Segment audiences based on demographics, behavior, and preferences to tailor marketing strategies.
  • Analyze customer journey data to identify touchpoints for improvement and engagement.
  • Support and measure A/B testing to evaluate the impact of different marketing strategies and variations.
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders using visualization tools like Tableau or Looker/Google Data Studio.
  • Present data-driven insights to marketing teams and management.


Who you are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator.
  • 3-5 years experience with digital marketing platforms and concepts, including Google Analytics (both Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4), Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Search Console, SEO, SEM, and social media analytics.
  • 2+ years experience using BigQuery and SQL for data querying and manipulation. Experience with Google Analytics exports in BigQuery will make you stand out!
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker/Google Data Studio, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies for data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of machine learning and predictive modeling is a plus.
  • Working knowledge using DOM in JavaScript is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in both data analytics and digital marketing.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.   
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$90,000$110,000 USD
