Senior Digital Manager, Advisory & Consulting

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to spearhead the Digital Transformation pillar within our Consulting & Advisory practice, guided by a two-pronged strategy. Firstly, this leadership role will be pivotal in shaping and delivering innovative digital solutions across industries such as manufacturing, energy, defense, infrastructure, and aerospace. Secondly, the successful candidate will oversee the strategic administration, design, selection, modification, and training related to digital engineering applications for KBR’s project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic insight, consulting expertise, and hands-on experience in leading large-scale digital transformation programs.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, this individual will operate within the Global Advisory & Consulting team, working in close collaboration with the organization’s extensive engineering, technology, and scientific resource base.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and growth roadmap for the Digital Transformation and Consulting pillar

  • Build and scale a high-performing team of consultants, architects, and digital specialists

  • Serve as a senior advisor to C-level clients on digital strategy, operational transformation, and emerging technologies

 

2. Client Engagement & Delivery:

  • Lead high-impact digital transformation engagements from ideation through execution.

  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and drive business value through digital advisory services.

  • Oversee delivery of services such as digital advisory services, technology driven transformation programs, digital twin, Industry 4.0, cloud modernization, intelligent automation, and other digital programs.

 

3. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within strategic accounts and emerging markets

  • Collaborate with the broader KBR/FNC teams to develop go-to-market strategies

  • Lead proposal development, solution design, and deal shaping for large-scale digital consulting projects

 

4. Innovation & Thought Leadership:

  • Stay ahead of digital trends in AI/ML, cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, and sustainable technologies within the ESG domain

  • Represent the company at industry forums and contribute to white papers and thought leadership initiatives

  • Develop intellectual property, methodologies, and accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency and client impact

 

5. Agile Product Development:

  • Serve as the business owner in Agile product development for internal digital solutions, leveraging expertise in Agile Scrum software development practices

  • Act as a Senior Technical Advisor to project and program leaders, driving the strategic integration of digital tools and systems to enhance project outcomes

  • Be accountable for the creation, alignment, and delivery of Digital Engineering Execution Plans (DEEPs) for each project

  • Take ownership of performance and results across related disciplines or functions, setting direction for functional strategy and policy development

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and team performance, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence aligned with KBR’s strategic objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field in Technology or Science

  • Over 15 years of experience in diverse digital consulting roles, leading large-scale digital transformation programs or technology strategy initiatives

  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary digital programs within complex industries

  • Expertise in one or more of the following domains: cloud, data analytics, industrial automation, or enterprise architecture

  • Strong understanding of operational challenges in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams

  • Consistent track record of delivering significant annual revenue growth
