Senior Digital Design Engineer
As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will design, develop and integrate digital integrated circuits. You'll work on sub-system level design including complex interconnects (both ARM and Arteris based), AMBA protocols and arrive at optimum interconnects for SoCs that cater for different business units. This position allows you to take ownership of projects and modules with emphasis on design though verification assignments will also be available to verify and validate the sub-systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Design interconnects, integrate and verify sub-systems
- Execute complete digital design flow from specification to implementation
- Design and implement industry-standard interfaces (I2C, SPI, etc.)
- Perform basic processor based verification of integrated modules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met
- Document design specifications and test results comprehensively
Must Have Skills
- A very good understanding of AMBA protocols (APB/AHB/AXI).
- Digital Circuit Design: Proficient understanding of digital circuits with ability to independently integrate sub-subsystem
- Verilog/SystemVerilog: Practical experience implementing and verifying RTL designs
- Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools: Competent use of industry-standard tools for digital design and simulation
- Digital Interface Protocols: Working knowledge of common digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART)
- Scripting: Applied scripting skills for design automation and workflow enhancement
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in digital design engineering with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, VLSI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong general coding and documentation skills.
- SystemVerilog fluency in design.
- Experience with a scripting language (Perl, Python, C, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of UVM
- Ability to own and drive assignments to completion with little supervision.
