Senior Digital Design Engineer
The Industrial Converter Technology develops leading edge solutions for Industrial applications. The group is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to work in high performance ADC/DAC products. The candidate must have a proven track record of successfully releasing complex mixed/digital signals ICs. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work effectively within the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing the specification, micro architecture and RTL design of modules as per requirements.
- Understand product requirements based on the technical definitions, implement and suggest improvements.
- Develop micro-architecture and design spec based on need
- Co-work with the verification team for complete functional closure for both RTL and Gate level
- Lint check and sanity synthesis.
- Hold trainings and mentor others on new architectures or improvements
- Be part of design reviews and port mortems, suggest optimizations to improve the design and reduce area/power.
- Formal verification and coverage analysis
- Support post silicon debug activities
- Knowledge on some of the industry standard interfaces such as I2C/SPI/AMBA etc is an advantage
- Proficient in scripting languages like Perl/TCL/Python etc.
Qualifications:
- BTech/MTech degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer science from reputed institutes
- 5 to 7 years of experience in micro architecture and RTL design
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills
- Knowledge of formal verification and coverage analysis with good debugging skills.
- Good verbal, written communication skills, and ability to work in large teams.
Additional skills:
- Flexible to work with different geometries
- Scripting Languages
- Understanding of Analog blocks such as ADCs, DACs, signal processing along with MATLAB would be considered strongly
