The Opportunity
Join our growing and dynamic team focused on the development of cutting-edge power management and high voltage application-specific integrated circuit (IC) products. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading customers across the Automotive, Industrial, Communications, and Computer systems markets to define and develop advanced digital solutions. You will be involved throughout the IC development lifecycle, from initial specification to final silicon implementation and test.
What You Will Do
Interpret and analyze complex digital and mixed-signal IC requirements specifications.
Actively participate in the IC specification phase, contributing to the definition of digital features and interfaces.
Perform block-level and top-level digital design, progressing from initial specification through RTL coding, synthesis, and static timing analysis (STA) to deliver a clean netlist.
Collaborate effectively with the physical implementation team to define physical, timing, and design-for-test (DFT) constraints.
Interface with the product development and test engineering teams to define and support the overall test strategy for the IC.
What You Will Need
PhD or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Solid experience in mixed-signal IC design, with a strong focus on the digital domain.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar digital design role.
Proficiency in developing block and top-level timing constraints for Static Timing Analysis (STA) and physical implementation (Place & Route - P&R) handoff.
Familiarity with standard serial communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Manchester, and CAN.
Experience with industry-standard electronic design automation (EDA) toolsets, including Cadence tools.
Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab and Simulink.
Experience in developing robust verification environments using SystemVerilog (SV)/UVM methodologies and applying SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl and Python.
Familiarity with Altera (Intel) FPGAs is a plus.
Demonstrated competence in digital design principles and Design-for-Test (DFT) techniques.
Strong knowledge of front-end RTL design using Verilog or VHDL.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural team environment.
