The opportunity

The Beca Digital team is helping clients tackle complex challenges through data, technology, and digital innovation. As demand for our digital consulting services continues to grow, we're looking for a Digital Consultant to join our Australian team and play a key role in shaping digital outcomes across defence, water, energy, and infrastructure sectors

This is more than a delivery role. You'll help win work, build trusted client relationships, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and influence the growth of our digital consulting practice across Australia.  Acting as a credible advisor on digital, data, and technology‑enabled change, you will lead digital consulting engagements , taking accountability for successful client outcomes.

You will work directly with clients to understand complex problems, shape digital opportunities, and lead the delivery of pragmatic, outcomes‑focused digital solutions. You will also manage and contribute to multi‑disciplinary teams delivering digital solutions, including business analysis, configuration, software development, data, and spatial solutions. 

There will also be an active component in winning work, including shaping opportunities, shaping bids and proposals, estimating scope and effort, and presenting digital solutions to clients

Due to the nature of our defence work, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.

About you

You are an experienced digital consultant who enjoys shaping opportunities, solving complex problems, and seeing solutions through from concept to implementation.

You will bring:

• Experience in digital consulting, with a strong track record delivering digital,  technology‑enabled or transformation projects ideally involving data analytics, software development, and/or low code solution development 

• A broad understanding of digital technology

• Experience across the software and digital delivery lifecycle, including requirements definition, business analysis and delivery management

• A proven ability to engage with clients, shape opportunities, and develop winning proposals.

• Strong consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with client stakeholders
