As a digital ASIC development engineer, you will be part of a global team and participate in highly complex mixed signal ASIC designs for Advantest’s IC-testers. You will be involved in the design and verification of digital integrated modules and subsystems from concept to finished device. This includes design, coding, test case generation and evaluation in the final system. You deliver against agreed upon schedules. Communication with other functions, product marketing, SW and system design is required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering, elicitation.
- Architecture development for CMOS designs
- Design and implementation of digital and full-custom modules
- Verification on module and chip level including test plan/cases generation.
- Documentation of implemented functionality
- Support for floor-planning and physical design
- Work with outsourcing partners
- Collaboration with other functions
- University degree, Diploma or BS EE
- Background in digital design (SOC), Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design methodologies and silicon development cycle
- Experience in Register Transfer Level (RTL) coding (Verilog)
- Experience with standard simulation tools for digital designs
- Basic knowledge about UNIX* or Linux* environment and using programming languages
- Technical communication, team work and problem solving skills
- English language skills
