Your Job:

Senior Digital and Social Media Manager, China is responsible for leading execution of the brand’s digital marketing and social media strategy to drive brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and revenue. This role oversees digital channels, content strategy, influencer strategy, and social media execution, ensuring all online touchpoints align with brand personality, voice and business objectives.

This role requires strong understanding of brand OTO ecosystem, data-driven decision-making, and agency management to optimize execution of our regional digital and social media strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management
  • Oversee content strategy and calendar across platforms (Red, WeChat, Douyin, etc.)
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and community building.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all social channels.
  • Monitor trends and release platform updates to keep the brand competitive and relevant.

  • Digital Marketing & Performance
  • Lead execution of paid media strategy (social ads, search, display, retargeting).
  • Optimize campaigns for traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Oversee SEO/SEM initiatives and performance.

  • Content & Creative Oversight
  • Collaborate with creative and brand teams to produce compelling digital content.
  • Oversee video, short-form, long-form, and interactive content initiatives.
  • Ensure storytelling aligns with brand positioning and audience insights.

  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze digital performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership with clear ROI analysis to inform future strategy decisions.
  • Use data to continuously refine targeting, messaging, and platform strategy.

  • Partnerships & Influencer Marketing
  • Develop and grow influencer and creator partnerships.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors where applicable.
  • Identify new digital growth opportunities and emerging platforms and make recommendations to onboard and integrate viable options

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of growing digital audiences and driving measurable ROI.
  • Strong knowledge of paid social, performance marketing, SEO, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
  • Experience managing budgets and leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
