The digital account management team oversees presale and post sale execution of national digital ad campaigns, inclusive of plan building, performance monitoring, optimization, reporting, and billing. The department services several national sales teams and handles deals of many different ad types and ad products: video (OLV/CTV, DIO/programmatic), display, sponsorship, etc.

The Senior Digital Account Manager serves as the manager of day-to-day digital accounts on the Monetization team, working closely with the Digital Account Managers and Coordinators. They also assist the Executive Director of Digital Account Management with executing strategic initiatives, revenue forecasting, and ad hoc projects.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as day-to-day manager of and point of escalation for digital account management team (account managers and coordinators)
  • Oversee performance of ad campaigns and cross-portfolio yield management
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for campaign, reporting, and ad server issues
  • Approve media plans, ensuring alignment with Nexstar rate cards, sales strategies, and client initiatives
  • Meet with Executive Director regularly, keeping them informed of current team and campaign issues
  • Assist with digital revenue forecasting and reporting
  • Maintain documentation for team and spearhead training of new hires
  • Iterate on existing departmental workflows to create more efficiency
  • Join client calls as backup for managers and coordinators when necessary

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working in digital media/advertising, including DIO and programmatic
  • In-depth knowledge of digital order management systems and ad servers, such as Freewheel and Google Ad Manager
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

Salary Range: $85k - $100k
