Role
We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Manager, IT Cloud Operations in the Engineering department. Our Engineering team built the world’s largest cloud security platform from the ground up, maintaining leadership with over 100 patents and 15 million users across 185 countries. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of cloud architects and security experts who are enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
Design and maintain cloud security controls, automating compliance enforcement, and conducting risk assessments to address vulnerabilities in cloud architectures
Collaborate with DevOps to secure CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure security with IaC tools, and enabling automated incident detection and response
Monitor cloud environments to identify threats and ensure compliance, enforcing security standards, and performing audits with compliance dashboards
Design secure architectures to reduce attack surfaces, enforcing IAM policies, and staying updated on emerging threats and security features
Develop incident response playbooks, collaborating on disaster recovery, and aligning security controls by guiding developers and reviewing code for risks
Who You Are (Success Profile)
You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years in cloud security, DevOps, or SecDevOps roles across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency in cloud security tools, IaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation, and automation with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, key management, and network security, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, or DataDog, alongside SIEM solutions
Relevant certifications such as AWS Security or Azure Security Engineer
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with zero-trust architectures and governance frameworks including Well-Architected Framework, PCI-DSS, or GDPR
Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues
Hands-on experience using Cloud Custodian
