We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux Systems Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux system administration and application troubleshooting. You will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, automating repetitive activity, ensuring high availability of applications services, and improve systematic solution on collect matrix data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux servers across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Linux and Kubernetes environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Ansible(preferably) or Terraform.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in Linux and Kubernetes configurations.
- Collaborate with development teams to support scalable application deployments.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Analyze production issues and identify root causes.
- Organize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.
- Participate in on-call rotations, conduct blameless postmortems, and drive continuous learning.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or software development within an international company.
- Proven experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) or programming language like Java.
- Experience and having good understanding of OOP like Java
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ElasticSearch.
- Exposure reporting tools like PowerBI is a plus.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
