As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our Engineering team, evolving the infrastructure that powers our clients’ digital products. From streamlining development workflows to ensuring peak performance and reliability in live environments, you'll help deliver robust, modern systems across a diverse range of technologies and industries.
What you'll be working on
You will design and build the backbone of our development process through robust CI/CD pipelines and solve complex puzzles through automation, tackling routine tasks to make everyone's job more creative and impactful. You'll act as a force multiplier by providing expert infrastructure support that elevates our entire development team, and you'll lead the charge on best practices by shaping our approach to monitoring, logging, and system security.
- Guide the strategy for our DevOps pipelines, owning and evolving the workflows that get our code to production.
- Take the lead on our cloud infrastructure (Azure), ensuring it is a secure, efficient, and resilient environment for our applications.
- Uphold engineering excellence in our version control systems (Git/Azure DevOps), ensuring they integrate smoothly with our CI/CD pipelines.
- Build a world-class monitoring and alerting system (using New Relic, OpenTelemetry, etc.) to ensure we are always one step ahead of potential issues.
- Act as a security champion, embedding security practices and protocols as a core, shared responsibility within our DevOps culture.
- Empower your colleagues through thorough and accessible documentation, making sure knowledge is shared effectively across the team.
What you'll bring to the team
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior or similar leadership role
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Bicep or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Azure services
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps or Github Actions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented working style
- Strong networking knowledge (VNETs, subnets, DNS, NSGs)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
- Experiences running Multi-region/subscription/tenant projects
