- As the Senior DevOps Migration Consultant, you’ll act as both technical lead and day-to-day client interface from discovery through cut-over.
You’ll partner closely with GitHub and Harness teams to design a streamlined, automated end-to-end migration golden path. This engagement offers the opportunity to set enterprise DevSecOps standards within a senior, low-bureaucracy team
What you'll be doing
- Lead discovery workshops and inventory existing tooling (GitLab, Jenkins) to produce a migration plan.
- Design RBAC structure and implement repository migration automation (including full history, issues, and MRs).
- Define and implement Harness CI/CD reference pipelines, templates, and OPA guardrails.
- Integrate Harness with Snyk, SonarQube, and Artifactory for a secure supply chain.
- Coach ~350–400 developers on Harness workflows and inner-sourcing practices (template contribution).
- Act as trusted consultant to stakeholders, balancing technical leadership with hands-on delivery
What we're looking for
Proven experience automating repository migrations GitLab → GitHub (including history/issues/MRs).
Production expertise with Harness CI/CD and STO.
Deep knowledge of CI/CD, Terraform IaC, OPA, and secure supply chain tooling (Artifactory, Snyk, SonarQube).
Strong background in identity & access management (LDAP/Entra ID, SCIM, RBAC, audit).
