Inspeq AI is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and modern DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and driving automation across our technology stack. You will architect scalable solutions, manage multi-cloud environments, and establish DevOps best practices while ensuring high availability and security of our AI platforms. This job requires an important blend of Infrastructure Automation (40%), Platform Engineering (30%), Security & Compliance (15%), and Performance Optimisation (15%).
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for complex microservices deployments
Establish and maintain security best practices across cloud environments
Implement and manage container orchestration platforms and service mesh
Develop automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Manage and optimise multi-cloud infrastructure costs
Lead incident response and implement disaster recovery solutions
Automate security compliance and governance processes
Implement GitOps practices for infrastructure management
Optimise system performance and resource utilisation
Mentor junior team members on DevOps best practices
Required Skills
Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Strong background in system security and compliance
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
Expertise in Git and GitOps workflows
Strong understanding of networking and security principles
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices
Having understanding MlOps will be a plus
Experience with cloud cost optimisation
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field from a Tier-1 college
7+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of dedicated DevOps experience
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with AI/ML infrastructure management
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
