About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure automation, particularly Terraform. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions. You'll work independently and collaboratively with development and product teams to improve system reliability, performance, and delivery efficiency while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure.

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform (primary), Bicep, CloudFormation, or CDK.

  • Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

  • Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain high system availability and performance.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

  • Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate infrastructure automation into application delivery pipelines.

  • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.

  • Lead technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive DevOps best practices.

  • Continuously optimize infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, security, and reliability.

  • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and promote DevOps and infrastructure automation best practices.

  • Stay up to date with evolving cloud and DevOps technologies, driving the adoption of relevant tools and practices.

Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years' experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer.

  • Strong proficiency in Terraform with deep understanding of modules, state management, and best practices.

  • Experience with other IaC tools: Bicep, CloudFormation, CDK.

  • Solid experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.

  • Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.

  • Knowledge of configuration management tools: Ansible, PowerShell DSC, or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

  • Proven experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
