Join the DevOps team within Digital Business Solutions at TAC, where you'll be part of a small, high-impact group pioneering the infrastructure that powers our entire organization. We're not maintaining the status quo—we're actively transforming disparate legacy systems and multi-cloud sprawl into elegant, unified platform solutions. In your first year, you'll hit the ground running: bolstering our Packer-driven VM image pipelines, leading application migrations into GCP, and mastering our complex infrastructure landscape across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It's a trial by fire, but you'll do it alongside a team that thrives on collaboration, pair programming, and mutual growth. Here, you own your initiatives while building something bigger together—the kind of work that fundamentally changes how engineering teams across the organization operate.

What you'll do

• Design and build reusable platform solutions—Terraform modules, CI/CD workflows, golden VM and Docker images, and self-hosted runner infrastructure—that empower engineering and SRE teams across AWS, Azure, and GCP to move faster and reduce toil
• Spearhead the evolution of our Packer-driven VM image pipelines, establishing standardized, maintainable processes that become the foundation for infrastructure consistency across the organization
• Lead application migrations into GCP while rapidly mastering our complex, multi-cloud infrastructure footprint—learning by doing alongside teammates who'll pair with you to accelerate your ramp-up
• Expand our GitOps practices by managing and scaling ArgoCD implementations for pull-based, declarative deployments to Kubernetes clusters, reducing manual intervention and deployment risk
• Partner with SRE and engineering teams across business units to translate their infrastructure needs into scalable, maintainable automation solutions that balance immediate delivery with long-term platform health
• Architect solutions that eliminate technical debt and operational toil, designing for maintainability from day one rather than accumulating shortcuts that burden future teams
• Mentor and pair-program with junior team members, sharing best practices around infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud platform design while growing together as a team 

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and shipping reusable infrastructure solutions at scale
• Deep, practical expertise provisioning and managing highly-available infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP), with the ability to navigate trade-offs between platforms
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform, and the discipline to build modular, maintainable solutions that scale across teams
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or similar) and a solid understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines with long-term maintainability in mind, avoiding technical shortcuts that create future operational burden
• Proficiency with automation scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) and the mindset to eliminate manual toil wherever possible
• Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals—VPCs, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs—and how to architect secure, scalable network solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you thrive in pairing sessions, can translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders, and genuinely enjoy mentoring others

Great-to-haves

• Experience implementing or scaling GitOps practices using ArgoCD or similar tools for pull-based, declarative deployment workflows
• Hands-on experience with Packer for building and maintaining VM images across cloud environments
• Experience with Linux system administration, kernel tuning, and deep command-line proficiency
