Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud environments, while partnering closely with engineering teams to enable reliable CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and production-grade systems.
What you’ll do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Operate and optimize EKS clusters, including node groups, autoscaling with Karpenter, networking, and cluster add-ons
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform (modular design, GitOps workflows)
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog )
- Improve system reliability through automation, observability, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with development teams to improve delivery speed and reduce operational friction
- Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls
- Own production issues, root-cause analysis, and long-term fixes
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles
- Expert-level AWS knowledge (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager)
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and cluster operations
- Deep hands-on experience with Terraform
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Experience with Docker and container lifecycle
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architectures
- Experience with monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with GitHub Apps, runners, or self-hosted runners on EKS
- Experience with FinOps and cost optimization
