Senior DevOps Engineer
Skillsoft is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to champion best practices in CI/CD, cloud architecture, and security for high-volume, publicly exposed systems. If you’re bold, driven, and ready to make a real impact, join us as a Senior DevOps Engineer and help shape the future of learning.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing DevOps Infrastructure, build and test environments, as well as repositories
- Modernize and standardize our global infrastructure, driving the adoption of AI-powered DevOps solutions that enable teams to deliver faster and more reliably than ever before
- Collaborate with top engineers and designers across the US, Europe, and Hyderabad, building on a platform that’s just getting started. You’ll work hands-on with the latest in cloud, AI, and automation—think Kubernetes, Jenkins, Harness.io, AWS, and more
- Experience the energy of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas matter and your contributions drive real change
- Design and implement scalable, automated infrastructure and DevOps solutions
- Collaborate across teams to remove bottlenecks and create seamless delivery pipelines
- Contribute to the development and integration of AI tools that supercharge our infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a passionate team of engineers
Skills & Qualification Requirements:
- 5-8 years of professional Software DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering experience building cloud-based enterprise solutions with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in CI/CD, Release Engineering, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS)
- Proficient in JavaScript, Python or Go
- Strong background with REST APIs, web services, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) integrations, and databases (preferably Postgres)
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems and troubleshooting complex issues
- Experience with Git-based workflows and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- A passion for solving hard problems and a knack for seeing the big picture
- Location: East Coast US
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience building AI tooling to automate Kubernetes management
- Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments
- A track record of driving change and inspiring teams
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $150,000 - $178,000 annualized.
