Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Jenkins server on AWS
- Maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment of all services across 3 environments on AWS Beanstalk
- Configuration and maintenance of security groups and similar settings for all services on AWS
- Maintenance of RabbitMQ server on AWS (EC2 instances but on AWS)
- Maintenance of PostgreSQL RDS instances on AWS, including upgrades, backups, and business continuity
- Maintenance of standalone servers with installations of 3rd party software (Kurento, MediaMTX) + our internal services (on Linux)
- Configuration and maintenance of security on standalone servers
- Maintenance and additional configuration of logs, dashboards, alerts on Grafana - and responding to those within the infrastructure
domain for points 1-7 - Communication with technicians, monitoring, and resolution of issues within the network and network security domain
- Researching alternative deployment methods, performance improvements, etc.
- Certificate management
- Keeping configurations and scripts in Git
- Bonus: Use some IaaC tool (e.g. Pulumi is Java-based) to do everything above in a modern way.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related field
- Extensive experience in managing AWS services and Linux servers, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Proficiency in English speaking and writing
