Toppan Merrill is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for a new product. This role is key to shaping the development, deployment, and operational efficiencies of our platform. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Setup, optimize, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, more reliable software delivery.
• Implement security best practices in DevOps workflows, including vulnerability scanning and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost efficiency, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery speed, system reliability, and security.
• Define and track key metrics related to software delivery effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Critical Experience & Tooling

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform
• CI/CD Pipelines & Automation: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy
• Source Code & Repo Management: Bitbucket (or similar Git-based systems)
• Cloud Platforms: Azure (or comparable cloud experience)
• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, Splunk, Azure App Insights, or similar tools
• Security & Compliance: Snyk, SonarCloud
• Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes (preferably AKS), Helm

Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Azure Certifications like AZ900 or AZ400) are a plus.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle, npm, NuGet.
• Familiarity with Wiz.io or similar cloud security tools.
• Exposure to RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with Databricks or similar big data platforms.
• Familiarity with Lean and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with high-traffic, scalable applications.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy).
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Ardoq  or similar tools would be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
